Commonly Used Materials

Clear Stone
Clean limestone is used in many different applications including backfilling basements and used as a driveway base where drainage is important. It comes in a variety of sizes from 3/8" chips up to 8" stone.
Round Stone
This stone is most commonly used in septic systems, decorative planting beds, and areas that need drainage. Available in 1-1/2" and 2".
Coarse/Torpedo Sand
Used for septic system installations, it is more coarse than mason sand.
Screenings & TB Products
These items offer solid packing qualities and are often used for driveway base materials. Typical sizes are 3/4" or 1-1/4".
Barn Line
Made of crushed limestone, barn lime's primary active component is calcium carbonate. It is often used in dairy barns as a non-slip agent for bedding and walkway areas.
Mason Sand
Fine, smooth sand. Often used for underneath pools or for grout mixes.
